MA Applied Linguistics University of Bonn
Students in the Institute of Germanic Studies / Department of German Linguistics at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) already combine German-language competence with philological, linguistic or cultural study. This makes the Bonn programme particularly relevant: it is taught entirely in English while requiring B1 German. For students in Hungary, the programme offers an English-medium postgraduate option at a public German research university, together with opportunities for Erasmus or Global Exchange mobility. We would be very grateful if you could share the attached flyer with final-year Bachelor's students and recent graduates in English, linguistics, applied linguistics, language education, TESOL, translation, German studies, modern languages, or related subjects.
Our research-based M.A. in Applied Linguistics is taught entirely in English and covers areas including sociolinguistics, pragmatics, discourse and social media analysis, corpus linguistics, AI and large language models, World Englishes, and second language acquisition.
